A Week of Keto: Day 6
You might be bored of bacon and eggs at this point but don’t worry it can be so much more varied on keto once you’re committed to it. I LOVE baking things (hello obvs) and so keto breads, scones, muffins, brownies etc are in constant supply. You can get all these recipes in the recipe section on the site or you could always buy your own keto friendly treats on Amazon. You don’t have to bother baking to still enjoy nice treats. Just remember to make it work for you!
Below is Day 6 of my Sample Keto Menu for beginners and remember it is based on a 1,600 calorie diet plan.
Shopping List 🥩
- ✔Coconut Flour
- ✔Chicken breasts
- ✔Tomato Paste
- ✔Cauliflower rice (i use frozen bags from Aldi)
Day 6 🍳
Breakfast- 390 cals, 37g fat, 5g carbs, 4g protein
There are so many more options for breakfast when your fully committed to keto such as Carrot loaf or Cinnamon Buns but for now we’ll stick to something simple and tasty and doesn’t require too much effort!
- 1 Breakfast Mug Muffin
- black coffee
- 2 tbsp of heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp of sugar-free syrup
Lunch- 475 cals, 22g fat, 4g carb, 44g protein
Yesterdays dinner makes todays lunch easy!
Dinner- 425 cals, 30g fat, 9g carb, 31g protein
This Butter Chicken is the most delicious keto fakeaway dinner for nights when you’re really craving something tasty like a Chinese. It requires f@ck all ingredients other than pantry staples and it tastes epic! It’s just mixing spices into chicken and frying it with an onion. The adding tomato paste and cream. Serve with cauliflower rice 😍(macros includes a portion of cauliflower rice which is 1 cup)
Snack- 300 cals, 30g fat, 4g carb, 2g protein
An afternoon coffee and peanut butter cup is the perfect keto approved afternoon treat. Don’t worry if you don’t have these, just sub something that is the same value so like 2 squares of dark chocolate or one of my keto brownies

- Black Coffee
- 2 Tbsp heavy cream
Day 6 totals
1590 cals, 129g fat, 22g carbs, 81g protein
