The Best Keto Recipes to Make this Fall
When the weather gets chilly and it’s time for the wooly jumpers, I’m ready to dive into a big bowl of something hearty and comforting! Yay and welcome back Fall or Autumn as we call it over here in Ireland 😊. Once again It’s time to light those Apple Spice scented candles (hello how amazing are they) dust of the slow cooker, get cosy in front of Netflix and cook up some AMAZING recipes. In this weeks blog I have collected some of what I think are ‘the best keto recipes to make this fall’.
1. Low Carb Moussaka
If you haven’t tried or even heard of Moussaka, it’s a Greek dish which is kinda their version of Lasagna! It’s loaded with minced beef and lamb, veggies (🍆 🍅) and creamy sauce. It’s topped with cheese and baked in the oven. This recipe from Ditch the Carbs is 8g of carbs per serving and is a really easy recipe to make. It’s a hearty, comforting dish that is perfect for this time of year when the evenings are getting darker!

2. Instant Pot Turkey Chilli
We call the Instant Pot or Crock Pot a Slow Cooker over here in Ireland and so this dish from SavouryTooth.com is a low carb, slow cooker, turkey chilli dish. What I love about the slow cooker is that you literally throw everything in and go off about your day, all the while this delicious, spicy, keto dinner is cooking nicely. 3. Keto Thai Coconut Curry Chicken
It’s probably more likely that you will crave a takeout (takeaway) on those cooler, darker evenings. You know the ones where you’re curled up in front of the telly and the house is reeking of scented candles 🤣. Well anyway, this recipe from Gnom Gnom is a great keto alternative to that Chinese you’re craving. Surprisingly, this recipe doesn’t have anything obscure or hard to source in it (I find a lot of her other recipes can be difficult and expensive to make) SAUCER OF MILK FOR NATASHA 🤣 But seriously, It’s a simple dish to make, is a bowl of pure comfort and is only 5g of carbs. 4. Keto Butternut Squash Risotto
Hello could this recipe be anymore Autumnal? If you’re craving something creamy, rich and hearty, this dish claims to deliver just that joy that you’re favourite carb-laden dish would. It’s easy to make, 7g of carbs per serving and it’s fricken yellow like the leaves 🍂🍂🍂🍂. Serve this with some pan fried chicken and you have yourself another tasty fall dinner! 5. Pumpkin Cheddar Soup
Ok I’m excited now. I love soups and this one is just everything you want in a soup. Velvety, warming with spices and low carb! It’s definitely a seasonal one though as it would be near impossible to find a pumpkin here in Ireland in March 🤣 The recipe from All Day I Dream About Food (hello that could be my Autobiography) actually uses a can of pumpkin puree which I believe is a lot easier than dicing up a big ol 🎃. 6. Keto Pumpkin Spice Latte
Get in ma belly you delicious spicy, creamy coffee treat!
- 1 oz. unsalted butter
- pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp sweetener
- instant espresso powder
- 1 cup boiling water
- Whipped cream
Blitz everything and enjoy! 1g of carbs and oodles of satisfaction 😁
