Fiery Keto Pesto

You will need

  • 60g Parmesan cheese
  • 40g Pine Nuts
  • 10g Fresh Garlic
  • 160g Basil
  • 1 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil (extra virgin has a stronger taste)
  •  Lemon/Lime Juice
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Black Pepper to taste
  •  Salt to Taste

Introduction

Incase you aren’t the biggest Mayo fan, I’ve got you covered with this two minute Fiery Keto Pesto! It’s sinfully good with just about everything and it can really transform a boring dinner 🙌

I love the stuff and would much prefer it to mayonnaise which I find a bit sickly at times. With Keto, the condiments choices are pretty limited unless you order lots of stuff online or just LOVE mayo with everything 🙄 So, if you’re like me, than this little two minute hack is the perfect condiment to add to your keto pantry!

Tip, add a tablespoon of pesto to your omelettes or quiche for a really delicious taste 😍

Method

  1. Grate the Parmesan cheese and blend along with the pine nuts and garlic.
  2. Add in the basil, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and chilli flakes.
  3. Blend to a smooth paste.
  4. Store in the fridge.
